Did you see some of the 4th Graders around town today with Mrs. Taylor and wonder why they weren't at school? They were taking pictures for their writing project! They had to pick a location in Potomac that they thought should be a landmark and give their opinion of why. They then are turning those reasons into a brochure about the location and needed pictures for their brochure!

Good Morning Cardinals! I have been blown away by the success of Coys Canteen. Students have been utilizing this "take what you need" space so well. It has provided snacks, hygiene products, school supplies, and water bottles to so many of our students. However- We are running low on a few items, and if you would like to donate I would greatly appreciate it. Feel free to drop donations off to the school, but if you prefer to buy online here is the most updated amazon wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/104I3ELYD7GDA?ref_=wl_share

Yesterday Pre-K talked about the 4 different types of apples and discussed their characteristics. Today, we talked about the 5 senses related to them. We took a look inside and counted the seeds of each core. Then, we tasted the apples with carmel added!

Tomorrow, we will join the high school and wear Cissna Park school colors in remembrance of Colson Carley, who passed away this past weekend. Colson was a high school student at Cissna Park, and we stand with our friends in Cissna Park remembering him. #WeRCP

Image of a poster with golf balls and golf clubs around the perimeter with the following text in the center of the poster: "Congratulations to the 100 students (83% of our school) that are currently meeting the requirement for our PBIS outing: mini golf. Just a reminder: to qualify to go, students must have attendance rates of 95% or higher (this equates to having 2 or less absences.) This includes excused absences. The students that qualify will be announced on October 18th.
Don't forget we have a School Improvement Day tomorrow! We will be dismissing at 11:20/11:30.
