Dear Potomac Community,

During COVID Potomac Schools have tried to respect individual differences and beliefs.   Whether or not to be vaccinated is a personal decision.   We have not advocated for or against the vaccine.   A few weeks ago the Illinois Emergency Management Agency asked to use a space to hold a vaccine clinic.  I agreed with the condition that the school was not promoting the vaccine and would not give access to any student or staff during school hours.   The cafeteria was selected because it could be isolated and separated from the rest of the school from 2 pm - 6 pm.   I hear your concerns and will not allow them to use our facility.   Your children’s safety is still our priority.   I appreciate your continued support of the school and encourage you to provide feedback.
