The inaugural Potomac Grade School 5K was held Friday, November 24, on a beautiful day for a run. Fourth through eighth graders had been training in PE for the past 9 weeks and finished by racing around --and inside-- the school. All race results can be found here.
A big thank you to all Pre-K through second grade students and parents who made signs and cheered on the runners. Donations of drinks and snacks for participants were also greatly appreciated. All students were awarded a race bag or a 5K finisher medal, courtesy of the Illinois Marathon.
