We began planning our upcoming PGS Veterans Day Assembly. This special event honors the Veterans connected to our school and community.
The morning will begin with a Veterans Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the library, hosted by the Potomac School Board and Administration. This will be a wonderful opportunity for our Veterans to visit with one another and enjoy a meal together.
Following breakfast, the assembly will begin at 9:15 a.m. Students will share songs, instrumental performances, and readings to celebrate and thank our Veterans. After the assembly, staff will be available to take pictures of Veterans with the students who invited them.
The assembly will also be livestreamed on our Facebook page, and photos from the event will be shared afterward.
