Happy Thursday, April 2nd!!

I waited to post this until today, because I didn't want anyone to think it was an April Fool's Day joke.  Here it is April 2nd and the school is so quiet!  This has become our "new normal" and I am not a fan of it!  I miss our kids!  They truly are what keep everyone at PGS going everyday!  We know this isn't easy for you at home, either.  However, we want you to know that we appreciate everything you are doing.  This is new for everyone.  Our teachers are putting countless hours in trying to make this transition as easy as possible.  We know there will be bumps in the road, but DO NOT HESITATE to reach out to any of us!  We are here to help you.

Remote learning has been continued through April 30.  We know this is not ideal, but it is what we have to continuing doing along with the rest of the state.  Teachers will continue doing what they started this week.  This process will get easier each week.  The benefit of being connected online is that teachers can give feedback almost instantly.  Teachers are available virtually from 9 am -12 pm daily, as well as when they are needed in the afternoon/evening.  We understand some parents are working.  We do not want this to be stressful for your family.  Find a schedule that works for your family.

Packets will still be available as needed, but our goal is to try to get everyone online.  We understand this may take time, but we appreciate you filling out the surveys that we are posting.  The district is working hard to get this accomplished!

Meal pickup will be on Mondays from 10 am - 11 am.  We will be following the same expectations as we follow during car rider pick up.  Please, stay in your vehicle and someone will bring everything out to you.  If you are in need of meals for your children, fill out this survey.

Also as a reminder, as it starts getting warmer outside, keep your children home.  I know they miss their friends, want to play at the park, go on a bike ride with friends, etc. During this time however, we cannot be with people who do not directly live with us.  We must all continue to practice Social Distancing.

As always, if you need anything during this time do not hesitate to reach out to me.  Thank you!!
